Re: 1959 redfish shark floor repair also the balsa was essentially used to add a core to the bottom hull to stiffen it. using stringers you may be creating hard spots so i'd probably do 5 (one center, 2 on either side). if i were you, i'd try to limit the height as much as possible also, just enough to put a flat floor in..
